Newbie - Brighton UK - S-Type 2.7D SE
Hi to all,
Ive just signed up to the forum so thought I'd introduce myself.
A few years ago I owned an X-Type and that gave me an interest in the marque.
Last week I became the proud owner of a 2007 S-Type 2.7 diesel SE auto on 97,000 miles.
She has immaculate bodywork and interior but an issue with the coolant system and air con which I'm getting sorted.
At the same time I'm having a cambelt, rear belt and water pump change and got the car for below value to reflect this work.
My first project is to upgrade the stereo to alpine premium sound and Ive sourced all the components via that auction site and making a start on the fitting today, along with sound deadening. The car already has the touch screen, CD multi changer and bluetooth module (which works great with my iPhone).
The cat has been lightly modified including window tint, gloss black wrap to the roof and door mirrors and the 18" Triton alloys have been wrapped in black carbon fibre to match the interior. Not to everybody's taste but I quite like it. Ive put some pics in my gallery.
