Hi all. Already posted in a few threads, so time for the introductions. My wife and I just parted with our '06 Boxster and traded up for an '08 XKR. She's always loved them, as have I. Glad to be in the club. Anyone else in the NW Chicagoland area? I'll be browsing the forums and looking for tips... Baby's first day...
I can see you've already found your way to the X150 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Hello, Carl,
Congratulations on your new BLACK Jaguar XKR!
What a very Pretty Car!!
I decided one of those (in BLACK of course) will be my Next Jaguar.
@LnrB Thanks for the warm welcome. I could arrange a trade if that XJ6 has a leaper on it. THAT is the one missing thing, from my wife's POV. :-)
Thank you, Carl, but I'm not interested in a trade. I have too much heart, soul, blood and sweat invested in this car (not to mention $$$). I plan to drive her wheels off, get new wheels and drive it some more! In fact, I plan to drive her until they take my pry my license out of my cold dead hand! LOL
Leaper? Naa, I'm of the personal opinion that Leapers don't belong on Girl Cars (if it has that Thing out front it's NOT a girl!) They interfere with the sleek lines and sexy curves Sir William envisioned. In fact, if Nix had a Leaper (I have other names for them) when I first saw her, she wouldn't have come to live with me.
