Default Newbie Forum, Oldie Jag

Hey guys! I've been that terrible person for years that reads countless threads and never gets an account, so it was time!

I drive a 2000 XJ8 Seafrost (though I lovingly call it seafoam simply because that's what I originally thought it was called when I first got the car). It has been in the family since '01 or '02, but was given to me in '06.

Jaguars have been a family staple since I was born. My dad drove a BRG, dual tank for years, followed by the X308 I drive now. He defected to lexus, then wuickly swaped over to bimmer, but my loyalty held true to my finicky, repair-heavy, twice totalled (neither time was I in the car) ole jag! It is a constant learning experience and challenge to keep the thing in good shape, but I love it to death. Always up for an exploratory trip into the nightmare that is jaguar maintenance!

Anyway, I hope I can gain some knowledge here (as I have for years) and lendd a tip or two somewhere, as lord knows I've got em to spare after 6 years of getting Jag grease under my fingers!
