Hi all , just purchased 06 x type estate 2.2 diesel with 150000 miles on it !! Which was a little bit of a risk as a runabout while my discovery is off the road and i have to say so far its a lot of car for the small amount paid !! Does have a few issues which im gonna hopefully get sorted but so far so good ! Fingers crossed .

Modern engines should go over 200 000 miles with little or no problem depending Largely on care and maintenance.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
