Default Newbie intro

Been on the site for a while, and just realized I never introduced myself & my car...

I'm new to Jaguar ownership but have loved the D-type since I was a kid. Now I have an F-Type base and am loving it. It is great having a car not many others have (although seeing more all the time around LA).

SoCal: great for driving--lots of twisty canyons between my home and work in Malibu-- but murder on the chin spoilers! Apparently no developer here can make a driveway without creating a ravine where it meets the road....

I was once told that those murderous curbs are so they can put driveways in wherever they want whenever they want without previous planning.

Some people I know make ramps with pipes at the apex so water can flow but they can still get into their driveway without dragging the guts from under their car.

Welcome to the forum EconProf,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

So that's where all the F-Types have gone.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
