Newbie in need of help!
Good Day to All!
About 10 months ago I purchased a gently used 2006 S-Type R locally here in DFW. I still have about two months left of warranty and it has already saved me a considerable sum. First the car needed a new catalytic converter. Then an entire headlight housing needed to be replaced. The next issue is a little scary, and what I need some help with.
About 6 weeks ago while pulling into a driveway, the car stalled out. Luckily I was able to react quick enough to the loss of power steering and avoid hitting my CFO's car.
The car has done this twice more (3 times total in 1.5 months). Every time it is while making a very slow turn while lightly in the breaks. Once to the left, and twice to the right. I have taken it in once already after the first occurance and the dealer said they did not find anything wrong.
There is no noise, there is no shaking, the car simply stalls. It then restarts and runs fine for a few weeks. As of right now I am driving around with a small video camera on me so I can show the dealer the problem.
Has anyone ever experienced this? Be gentle, it's my first post!

Welcome HP. Speaking softly and typing gently (instead of my usual mashing of the keys),
if you go over to the S-Type forum and type Stalls into the search box at the top of the forum, you will come up with a series of posts about similar problems. (from fuel filters to broken breather pipes and vacuum line issues).

Welcome to the STR club!
Good thing you still have a warrenty......Might want to get an extended on to be covered as well.....
Check the boards.....They have a lot of answers and insite.....I like it so far!
