Hi, best of luck with your new jag. I have had 97 xk8 roadster in BRG since 2000 when it was a dealer select edtion with 25k. It now has about 43k. I would suggest before you modify the engine, to be sure the timing chain tensioners have been checked/replaced. I had mine done at about 36k before they failed. Hopefully, the dealer or previous owner will know the status.
