Default Newbie from Spokane

Hi everyone, My Name is Nick and I am from Spokane, Washington. I am in the process of purchasing my first Jag (2001 XJR) and wanted to get a head start on learning everything I can. I am and have always been an auto enthusiast. I also have a 65' impala SS, which was my first car. I look forward to meeting you all and learning everything I can. Once my car is acquired, I will post pics.

Thanks
Nick

Hello Nick and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Thanks for the welcomes! I haven't yet put my car detail information in my profile as I haven't yet pulled the trigger on my prospective xjr. I anticipate it happening very soon though. For now, I have been scanning these forums and learning all I can. I know this might not be the appropriate spot for this, and that I would get better luck in the model specific thread, but if anyone reading this knows, please chime in. Are there any inherit advantages to the 2002 model xjr as oppose to the 2001? My research suggests minimal differences between these two.
Again, thanks for the welcome and I look forward to becoming a contributing, active member of this community.
Thanks
Nick

welcome to the forum Nicke, hope we can help
Great to have you here with us on Jag forums

There's usually plenty going on in most sections, most of the time.

You might find the off topic good for fun, maybe check out the mug shot thread and add yours?
Don't forget the regional section and also the detailing section is a must.

Some good guys and great techs, top vendors and more to come....all good

In the meantime I've upgraded you manually to full forum access so you can better veiw the site
