Hi, my name is Mike and I got my XK8 4.2S Convertible 2006MY last April and joined the forum in May. This is my first Jaguar and although I have hankered after an E Type for years I found that the prices were getting further and further away from me. Hopefully the XK8 prices will go the same way! Which would be good news for the grandkids.
I think that I was very lucky to find this one. It has only done 59000 miles and has been cherished by 3 previous owners.
According to the info I have been able to gather the VIN is 48399 and the car was built around 19 April 2005; the engine specifically at 16.06 hrs on 19 Apr 2005. This little beauty is finished in Frost Blue with Ivory/Charcoal trim.
I live just outside Leicester, although we try to spend as much time as possible in sunnier parts.
Having been a member for almost one year I find the forum amazing - the information available seems unlimited.
