Default Jaguar seen north of 60

Maximum smiles-per-gallon........Computer off, fresh powder, set of hakkapeliitta 8 tires and an empty car park....Way Way too much fun!

Bought in Calgary, drove 2200km back to Whitehorse through blizzards and never once felt nothing but total safety. That winter mode with those tires makes you feel like your driving on dry roads. Wow what an awesome piece of kit. That V8 pulls like a locomotive and so so smooth.....I feel like I've won an award more than bought a car......sorry not a car.....a JAG. The drive to work will never be long enough.

See you on the roads guys......I'll be the one with the biggest smile.....

Welcome aboard!

You can join the contingent who are willing to say
that not only is a RWD vehicle snow capable, it is
preferable.

Welcome to the forum Damian,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow Norri's link in post #9 to the X250 forum for help, advice and information.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

I know you've already found your way to the Canada Region forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Default Thank you all.

Thank you so much everyone for all your welcomes and hospitality. To be completely honest I have used your forum quite extensively when deciding upon a vehicle for myself. Being brought up in the North of England, owning a Jag was something we only dreamed of, we could never even afford to say the name 'Jaguar' at our dinner table, yet alone own one. So when the possibility arose I had to do a lot of research to see if it was really plausible for me to own a Jag and then bring her to the frozen North.
Forgive me because even though I use forums extensively for research, I am not accustomed to posting to them and was wondering if I should now post all of my joys and experiences straight to the Canadian "thread"?
Thank you to all that have helped confirm my choice of such a magnificent beast.......and to let you all know she's in good hands, I don't own anything I can't handle or look after. (I bought my wife a brand new 2010 Rav4 and I also own, from new, a 2008 Yamaha R1. Both still in immaculate condition. Both used exactly for what they were designed for)

Once again cheers guys and I look forward to picking all your brains for advice and sharing all our families adventures. I figured out the signature, cheers, I'll work on getting more details as I go.

Tech discussion or problems are best off being posted in the dedicated area for the given car model. Norri posted the link to the XF forum.

The regional sections are great for sharing what's going on in a given area. All of Canada is lumped in one big forum and it's not surprising that the west coast or far north guys might not relate to what's going on in the east, and vice versa.

There's also an off topic forum where almost anything goes.

It's always best to start a new thread for each issue rather than tagging onto someone else's.
