No way back
I've been test driving a 2003 X350 S/C yesterday, I should not have done this. There will be no way back!
What a car! I'm not surprised about the enthousiasm I see on these forums. I'm planning to do repairs & maintenance myself, so I look forward to be a part of your community.
Tomorrow I will do a final technical check on the car. If all ok, fair chance that it will be mine. Keep you posted!
Regards, Paul
Update: I got the car!!!!!!!

Welcome to Jaguar ownership and membership of the community of owners !
Your car is same year as mine, which still looks immaculate at 8 years old and 55k miles. These cars are not fault-free, but if you can do repairs, most stuff is DIYable, it's the cost of the parts that makes people choke a bit. The air suspension compressor does not last long, but if you think of it as a consumable like tyres and brake discs, it's not too bad. These are now half the price they used to be a few years ago - the power of the aftermarket.
