Wink Not actually a new member just adding a new model

I'm a senior member of the X-type form under the name Green Machine with a 2003 2.5 BRG beauty. Today I just purchased a '97 XK8 so will be joining that form also. We are just about an all British family now as in addition to the 2 Jags I also am the original owner of a 1964 Triumph Bonneville T120R motorcycle.
Happy motoring everyone.

Congratulations Bob,

Great combination. That makes a Jaguar for every occasion.

I'm sure you'll have done your research on the XK8 section before buying the '97 and we'll be seeing you there.

Happy motoring to you too.

Graham

So Bob, will you have to change your member name to the color of the new one?

Yes I have a racy one now to go with my cruzin machine.
No I didn't research on the forum but did some checking online. I know I probably should have check things out more but when I see something I like and can afford it at the time I simply jump in with both feet. The main thing that drew me to this particular on is the 82000 miles on a 15 year old car. That a little over 5000 miles a year and is inline with how I drive my cars. The exterior is in great shape and the interior is great also with the exception of the drivers seat and center arm rest which are going to be recovered by a local shop at no cost to me, which will be a big buck saver. I know there are some issues with the XK8 but I'm almost finished with all my project on the X-type so I was running out of to do things. Now that problem is solved. I will be going on the XK8 forum to get assistance with the issues that I know about now and any thing popping up in the future. I've learned a lot over these past few years working on the X-type and I'm sure I will learn a lot more on the XK8 project.
