Greetings all.
Never been a fan of British cars since the 80's, but know they have a massive following. As I work on many marques as someone self employed now, after serving a qualified BMW Technician 89 - 99, I am always trying to learn something new. A couple of good friends have X351's and so it is for them I am joining to be in a position to help. I live in Wales and drive a 2002 BMW 530i. I have a cut off date of 2002 for any car I own as quality nose dived from this date onwards. Having said all that, I never slag off another persons choices.

Sounds like you're a great friend to have. Not judgemental, and always there to help. If I ever get a BMW, I will definitely hit you up with any questions. I hear they need repairs often... Just kidding, Welcome to the Forum!
@E39M54B30, many of us are experienced with other marques as well, so hopefully we can offer advice and help for your friends' X351s.
Personally, I'm not a BMW fan nor a fan of any of the German marques for that matter.
Welcome to the forum.
Sometimes I wish I had studied the human brain. In all seriousness the complex choices we all make and the often phase-opposite appreciation we have for, in this context, cars. I have a mate who swears by and drives to work... a Morris Ital and his wife an Aleggro!!!
