New Dutch Mexican member
Hello there,
My name here is Harrosito and I'm Dutch, living 6 months a year in Holland and six months a year in Mexico.
In Holland I drive a 1996 Daimler Double Six Century, only 100 made because of the celebration of 100 years of Daimler, here known as Jaguar Vandenplas.
June 14th this year I bought an ebony black Jaguar XJ 5.0 Sc in Mexico, with ivory leather and 55.000 km's. That's correct, like the song, Ebony and Ivory.
We're counting 58.000 km's now and still very happy with this beautiful car, build in 2012.
This year we will stay in Mexico all year long, because we didn't want to take the risk that we couldn't go back again from Holland to Mexico before winter, if corona would strike again, which it now really does, unfortunately.
I'm almost 62 now and already retired for about 15 years (sold my companies, my house and my ex, however the last one for free), the last 10 winters enjoying the Mexican climate with me Mexican girlfriend whom I met in summer 1980 in France, when I was touring through Europe with two friends on our motobikes.
In 2007 I found here again, by Fakebook, and since 2008 we are together for life.
I'm already enjoying this forum and looking forward to spend some more time here.
Bye, see you!

Welcome to the forum!
As you may suspect from my username, we have a lot in common.
I am a Mexican expat living in the Netherlands.
Hope you can cope with tacos all year long until the pandemic allows you to fly back!

Hello guys, thanks for the warm welcome!
Grant Francis: It's a Daimler, since 1896 ;-) Later purchased by Jaguar, in 1960 I believe.
Hai Jagmex, thanks, I'm doing fine with the tacos, but the gringas are even better. Bigger and more cheese. ;-)
Where are you staying in Holland?
We are not planning to go back before next summer, corona is better here than there and I hate cold climates.
