Default O Father of mine...an XK8!

Hello fellow Jaguar enthusiasts,

Greetings from the beautiful North Shore of Vancouver, BC Canada!

My father, who is retired, decided he wanted to treat himself to an elegant, stylish and sporty convertible. So a few weeks ago, he found a pre-owned 1997 XK8 Convertible with over 100,000kms in stunning Carnival Metallic with a Cream interior. The car is a local car, with no accident and seems to be in reasonably good condition but needing some TLC. We are looking forward to working on it bit by bit and get it somewhat near perfection (if that is ever possible before reaching bankruptcy!). So for the next little while, I will be the caregiver/nurturer, and he will be the driver

I look forward to tapping into the vast knowledge of the members of this Forum ...and thank everyone in advance for any advice, help, tips or wisdom/forewarning that may be sent our way. Hopefully in due time, I will be able to contribute with some of the experience gained from our adventure with this gorgeous cruiser.

For now, the weather is nice, the top is down and my father is enjoying the car!

Kind Regards,
Alibs555
