Hi all,Ive just completed what I wanted to be my last project.....; a rework/refresh on my 96 X300 3.2....repaired panels replaced front screen changed cars colour ,windows tinted legally, headliner and so on thought Id finished and then a 1978 43000 mile Damiler S2 Double six appeared on my drive....seconds later it was mine ......OK it was running today and all of last week,it was running on the left tank only...... Im now trying to find a descent price or replacements for the two one way return valves under the wheel arches///// got them out, applied power to both just to check....OK left is open all the time, even with power applied. Right is closed all the time even with power applied..and Im not sure the tank selector switch is being powered anyways as yet ...also after raising the back on ramps Ive lost power to the fuel pump and change over valve Ive checked the 12 fuses and find their fine , so as it is always the way Ive got this issue to sort out before doing the headliner replacement new board arrived water temp meter not working as yet seats in the rear to recover as their velour...other than that its sort of great to have 10 hours a day back as a routine thought I was doing TV from now on..Anthony 69 years old with all the hip ops and other health issues on top BECKENHAM KENT I..ps if your board and fancy giving your time to help Id be more than happy ....
