I am a retired english car garage owner having much experience on all english cars (and foreign cars in general) but favoring Jags, I guess it is affliction ! I have had many of the older models and finally understanding most of them, but I am baffeled by my 2002 xj-8 and all its mysteries and complexities. I surely welcome the thoughts of others on this forum. I curently have heating problems with the cooling fans and the heater.

Welcome aboard! Yep I bet you can find the help you need here. Check out that XJ8 forum as Norri suggests. Search the board, check out FAQ's, do a little research on here and you might find the answers you need. If not, well then post up a question and help will arrive. We are blessed to have several Jaguar technicians who are members and often chime in with expert advice.
