Once a year Jag project
Got a 97 xk8 conv bought new. My wife and I both tall so we only drive with top down. Very low miles. She likes to drive to Ocean City MD. condo but I don't like the idea of the salt air. So far the only issues we had was the conv top fluid needing replaced ( so the dealer said) and the ground fault breaker in garage blowing causing the battery tender to let the battery go stone dead twice over the years.

Welcome to the forum poppop,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
There'll be only a handful of original owner, low miles XK8's in the World. Once the values start to rise, it should be top of the list.
Follow this link XK8 / XKR ( X100 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Mid Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-mid-atlantic-65/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
