New Jag owner and by the looks of it as I have read other posts, I have a familiar problem. Oil pan gasket leak. I need HELP!

Today I was doing a lot of city driving in rush hour this afternoon and i began to hear a clicking sound under the hood when I accelerated from a rest position, but it stopped as I continued to pick up speed. It repeated at every stop light. I pulled over and check the oil, as I normally do every morning since i have been having this leak. It looked normal. I took the oil cap off while the car was still running and little shots of oil was shooting from the engine, but the car was running rough, but fine. Does anyone know what that means.

Trying to make it until next Friday to have work done.

Welcome to the forum parham,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

You don't mention Make and Model in your Intro post! I've had to go to your forum profile to find this information.

The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the USA Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link USA Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
