Potential 2008 XK owner in California

im am in love with the 2008 XK convertible, however i am concerned that everyone tells me it will be at the mechanic's most of the time. current owners, is this true?????? please advise

so all the rumors are false, i do not personally know anyone who owns an 08XK

Don't get me wrong, we all playfully complain about the cars. The older ones were much less dependable. And nothing looks as good!

It's tough because the car is sooooo new, and only in it's second year of production, but the "beast" has well earned it's name. No recalls thus far and the few 07+ XK8 owners we have are VERY happy with their cars.
