After many years of owning a Jaguar. We decided to join this forum. There are many forums out there and each of them have their wealth of information and a potential for making life long friends. We have been owners of Jaguars for 5 years. I have always loved them since I was a kid and got a ride in an XKE V12 which made me the motor head I am today. Currently my husband and I own the following. In year order. 1985 Thunderbird, 1993 Del Sol, !995 Dyna wide glide, !996 Vanden Plas, 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood S&S Masterpiece hearse, 1997 Boxster, 1999 VZ800, 1999 V70, 1999 XK8, 2001 E55 AMG. The daily drivers are the XK8 and V70. Our first Jaguar was a 1996 VDP which sadly committed suicide this past June due to 2 mechanical failures, One being the J cable and the other was the E brake. It rolled down a hill whist in Park and hit a pole, Thankfully no one was in the car and no one was hurt. We replaced it with another 96 VDP found just a few weeks later. Then we found a beautiful 99 XK8 convertible. We look forward to many years of sharing stories, advise and making friends along the way. Happy motoring

Welcome.
Awesome fleet growing there.
Jags and suicide are not usual partners, but sometimes "things go bang in the night".

Welcome to the forum cat hoarder,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the USA North East Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-north-east-me-nh-vt-ma-ri-ct-nj-ny-pa-35/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
