Impressed... naw...smitten is a much, much better description.
This little kitty instantly found herself a new home!
I purchased my 2001 XJR there right on the spot. Spent the next three days trying to contain myself enough on the drive back to Hampton Roads Virginia. Looking back, I am not really sure how I avoided collecting a glovebox full of tickets on the drive home.
I am so very pleased with this car. A pristine 2001 XJR. One owner, all the books, all the original purchase documentation including the Navi and introductory Jaguar CD's.
This sedan did not miss a beat. I drive it everytime I can. Pure elation and smooth as glass.
I found this fourm scowering the internet and hungry for Jaguar history and general information.
I hope I can contribute back as much as I have gained from reading the member posts!
Pictures to follow... but I suppose I need to stop driving it long enough to take them.
Cheers!
Ray
Welcome to the forum. Nice intro'. You could kill two birds with one stone and take the camera with you to the petrol station.
We don't get many pics of Jags at the pump, strange really.

Thanks for the replies.
I was a bit concerned to purchase the car with all the war stories out there. However, and as with all complex machines, I expect do that I will be wrenching on it from time to time.
Plan on driving the XJR over to the Eastern Shore of Virginia again this week. I have the digital camera sitting on charge, so I expect to be posting a few photos soon.
The more explore the forum the more useful information I find and the more I enjoy it.
Great job.

Thanks. You are absolutely right.
We learn as we go and this forum is a great place to learn.
I got an OBDII reader the other day. What a great investment. These cars talk to you and it helps to be able to listen and understand what they are telling you.
Speaking of listening... I checked out your youtube video.
That is one very sweet sounding Jaguar you have there...
