Proud new owner - 2010 XKR
Hello Jaguar Forum and thank you for having me aboard! I am a proud new owner of a 2010 XKR convertible. After months of searching I was able to pickup a beautiful black on black XKR here locally last weekend from a private party. I am the 3rd owner of the car which has 27K miles on the clock. A bit a background; for the last 10 years my other hobby and passion has been my 1981 DeLorean. I completely restored this car which I purchased from it's original owner back in 2009 It was a fantastic project that brought much enjoyment through all of the blood sweat and tears. But, all in all I have no regrets with it. However, I decided it was time to move on and enter the world of Jaguar. I wanted a vehicle that had more comfort, a bit more horsepower....please no Flux Capacitor jokes a bit more reliability and a lot more sophistication! Upon the persuasion of a close friend of mine, who happens to own a 2006 XK8, I set my eyes on searching for a XKR. For me, this car completely fits the bill! I could not be happier with my decision. It still boggles my mind how under rated these beautiful cars seem to be? I am eager to begin my new adventure with this model and I look forward to much interaction with this forum along the way!

Welcome to the forum jeffu,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. I've had a lot of different Jaguar models but the X150 is my favourite - I'm on my second. Both Coupes as England is not the place for Convertibles!
