Just joined the site but let me say thanks to all here for the wealth of information/experience everyone provides. A couple of years ago, after a lifetime of driving the most mundane cars imaginable, I bought a beautiful 2005 XKR ragtop. I did so totally on a spur of the moment... love a first sight kind of thing (at the time I was driving a 1984 Toyota pick-up and a prius!). Since that day I have added a fun little Boxter and a 360 Modina. I'm often asked of the three cars I now have, which is my favorite? A lot of people are surprised when I tell them that for overall driving experience, neither the Porsche nor the Ferrari can touch the Big Cat! I guess only other proud Jag owners can really know what I mean.

Welcome to the Forum. I've had much the same experience finding that I just don't drive any of my other toys anymore because the XKR just combines so many of the things I enjoy about driving them. It's just so easy.

Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
