Hello, everyone...very happy to join the forum. I purchased the new love in my life a couple of weeks back and have never enjoyed driving so much as now. I've had some nice and fun cars before (Quattro, MG, Mustang, etc), but I've always wanted a Jaguar...ever since I was a boy.

I was really just stopping by the dealership to take a look at the different colors/trims and figured if I had time a test drive would be nice. As soon as I pulled in there was a 2003 Sport in Quartz with Dove - my preferred combo - and it was on special. Well, I blew out my original budget, but the car is awesome. Absolutely stunning.

There's 40k on it though it looks like a brand new car. It was originally bought and serviced there and they have all the records. The car was completely pampered including 3000 mi oil changes since it was new. It's covered with the Jaguar Select Warranty until 11/09. It also has the premium package and the XA package (not sure what that entails)...but it's loaded and runs like...well, like a Jaguar.

She's everything I had hoped for...and I'm particularly impressed with the handling. It corners like it's on rails. The speed and acceleration are deceptive...it's a lot faster than it seems. The engine is a little louder than I expected, but it has an amazing, subtle growl when you punch it...a sound I've grown very fond of.

I just wish every teenager with a riced up old Honda didn't want to race me everywhere I go....LOL
