Default Rare Cat: Kitty needs a vet!

Hi all! New to this forum. I recently acquired one of those rare XJ-SC Cabriolets... an '88, which was originally purchased by my uncle new and has been passed around the family.

4 years ago, she developed a cracked motor mount and my cousin let it sit rather than repairing her (he owned a lot of cars, but was bad about maintaining any of them). Now she is mine, and I'm working on getting her drivable, then off to the painter and then the reupholster (to get new leather, carpet, and wood veneer. It's a project I've earmarked about $10k US for.

Gotta get this kitty purring and soon!!! I'll try to post some pics as soon as I figure out how.

Hi TikiJack,
Welcome to the forum. We'd like to see your project.
Posting pics is pretty easy, and there are lots of alternatives.

Find yourself a free photo hosting site. I use photobucket, but there are others.
Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket
You can upload your images, arrange them into separate albums if you wish, and post them in a variety of forms; thumbnails, full size, etc. using the "share" button.
If you need any additional info, give a holler or PM me.
Regards,
Retro

Hmmm... I'll have to look into that. In the meantime, I stumbled on the "My Garage" feature here and added the pics there, as well as my Audi TT Convertible and my 1955 Jeep CJ5.

(yeah, my wife tolerates me and my toys!)

Default ideas on hold whilst I'm on probation.

Since I recently bought this Jag in desperate need of some help, I was hoping to get some good 'visual' tips and browse members photos, but apparently I'm on probation initially. From what I've read, I have a few days plus I have to have 3 posts, I think? Posts includes 'replies', doesn't it? It's not suggesting I start 3 threads?

From my email, I apparently already have a PM, but have to wait before I can see it.

Don't mean to sound impatient, but it feels like forever when you have a new project and $10k in an account allocated to it.
