Default Reporting in from Jacksonville, FL - 1963 Mk2

Back to the world of Jaguars after a 40 year absence. I sold my XK120 drophead when I rotated to Germany in 1974 and the insurance was more than my staff sergeant's pay. Since then, many, many other British cars but no Jags. My wife, from Heidelberg, had wanted a Mk2 since she first saw one in 1963; she finally got one, a 1963. We found a decently maintained, mostly original car out of a 50-year, one-family ownership and are in the process of sorting it out. I am remembering things that I had long since forgotten, and am getting the car in shape for her. I have been building traditional hot rods for the past 20 years, since we came back to the US and I retired from the Army, so this is back to my roots after a fashion. Good to be on board.

Welcome to the forum Greg,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow Norri's link in post #3 to the MkI/Mk2 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
