Thumbs down s type p0442

Can't seem to figure out how to get access to the canister area of my 2005 s type 3.0l. I believe it to be under the floorboard above the rear differential. Have put car on jack stands but unable to clearly see or touch the canisters location or the ccv if there is one. Does something have to be removed to access it? I have replaced the gas cap and vacuum tested the canister purge valve to no avail. Any ideas?

Is there an overview available that would clarify the basics? I'm unclear on what posts and threads are and how they differ.
