Default Sticking/locking Brakes 2006 X-type Jaguar

Hi there. Im new in this forum. I have a 2006 X-type Jaguar 3.0, automatic whic I've used for 3 years now without issues. Recently, I had changed the rear rotors, calipers and pads. I had sticky brakes, all 4 wheels since then. I'll appreciate and look forward to any help here. Thanks.

Hello,
I'm sorry to read about your sticking brakes. How frustrating after all that work was put into them! Someone will be along shortly to direct you to our X-type section where you can find help for that problem.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum edapol2007,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum with this issue so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Canada Region forum by following this link Canada - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

The sticking brakes issue in my jag was solved by retracting back by 3/16 inch the hydraulic rod of the brake booster. I have used it for about 2 weeks now and its all good, back to its original state.

Thanks for the help guys.
