Hi all, just bought an S-type V8 4.0 auto 1999 on the T 78000 miles fsh to 77000. Its been driving great with just a little occaisinal stutter at 70mph. However over the last few days the stutter has become dramatically worse from start! i have taken it to 2 diagnostics as the first said they could find NO problems and the second gave up as they didnt have a clue. Does anyone have any ideas? I recently saw a post about the Lambda/oxygen sensor and wondered if it could be that or the coils or the cat, Ther has been a funny smell occaisionally leading up to this. I havent a clue about the mechanics so i dont fancy getting shafted hence asking you guys.
