I test drove an XF with premium package over the weekend and I have to say I was very impressed. I usually lease cars as I always seem to hanker after something new in about three years, however this time I am actually thinking of buying as I hate having to be aware of the driven miles all the time.

Concerns I currently have:
Long term fit-up and reliability. I have a Land Rover back in 2000 and after three years everything rattled and I was always taking it in for something (minor such as a sensor problem in general).
The touch screen interface. I was suprised that it did not have a controller located somewhere near where the handbrake is as most modern cars do now. It seemed a little clumsy top have to stretch over to a touch screen.

Some of the internet reviews have commented on the lack of space in the back, however I am 6'2"" and my 19 year old daughter said it was comfortable behind me with lots of space.

I am thinking of getting the Portfolio package in order to get the ventilated seats (the car gets hot after sitting in the sun all day at work here in Florida) and the spice colored combination since the lighter seats might be more prone to wear, etc. and again the black seats are not the best for Florida.
