Default Texas Jag Lover

Hi All,
My wife has a 99 Vanden Plas. Love the car. Have had it since 2005. Wish the newer cars still had this long nose and wide back seat!

Welcome to JaguarForums! I'm a Longhorn-by-marriage and have had many great times in Texas!! Regarding back-seat space, my wife has a 2005 XJ8L and you could almost fit Bevo in there. I have to admit that I like the styling of yours better, but the all-aluminum X350 really is an amazing car. By the bye, we bought that car in Houston and she and a girlfriend drove it back to Seattle. Fun trip. When the car arrived in our driveway, it mysteriously had one of those chrome Longhorn emblems on the back to "balance the XJ8L emblem" on the other side. I drew the line when she started looking for a little set of horns to attach to the Leaper.

Ah, you can take the girl out of Texas, but you'll never take Texas out of the girl (which is a good thing 'cuz that's part of what makes her so doggone cute.)

Anyway, welcome to the Forum. You'll find a wealth of knowledge and great folks here. Enjoy.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

These Texas girls are alright by me. She demanded a Jaguar so we actually purchased the car in Ohio when we lived in Indiana. We are back in good ol Texas now. I cant wait to buy my Jag. Almost bought an 80's model a few years back, it was beautiful outside, but needed a lot of work so I passed on it. It was white with gold trim...
