Thanks to this wonderful website, I saved $100 by reading a users post. I recently locked my keys (only set) in the trunk. The Jag dealer wanted me to order a new key, and since my interior release button doesn't work, I searched for other options on JaguarForums.com Sure enough, someone described in detail how to open the trunk by removing the license plate and tripping the lock mechanism through the screw holes. Yes, it was a bit tedious but it worked! And, I didn't have to buy a new key. Note to self: Never lay your keys in the trunk!

Here's a tip: keep your remote separate from the keys. Preferably in a separate pocket. That way it acts as a backup if you lock your keys in the car.
