Thanks from Sydney Australia
Hi all,
As my signature attests, I am an XJS tragic (amongst other 2 & 4 wheeled internal combustion engined beasties) who has recently acquired an XKR. After the short honeymoon, I've since found her to have a few intermittent and irritating glitches that have however fortuitously brought me to this wonderful forum.
The Threads on the P1646 fault code have been extremely helpful in directing my attack on the sporadic, but incredibly frustrating <3,000 rpm "Reduced Performance" feature - so thanks to all who contributed. And just now I've found the direction to look for my intermittent ABS/ASC/No Traction alarm, so again thank to the contributors.
Looking forward to more reading to find all the answers to get the XKR running tickety-boo - then back to some XJS niggles that have been ignored for the previous lack of a knowledge pool to swim in.
Cheers,
John
