thinking about buying a jag xj8 have nb question

can i get a charger off a supercharged model and put it on a non supercharged one?

you can, but it would cost so much more youd be silly not to just start off with an R to begin with.

i can get the jag xj8 for 5000 or maybe less from a old man. i also saw a person parting out a supercharged one on ebay... i dont know how hard or if theengine can handle it,, or if its even possible. the charger was under 900, mass air was like 300, i dont know what els i would need ecu maybe? or are we talking like a complete motor and wiring swap.

YES YOU NEED A COMPLETE DRIVETRAIN SWAP, TRANS, ENGINE WIRING ETC, FORGET IT. YOU WOULD BE LITTERALY $1000'S AHEAD IN THE LONG RUN, JUST GET A R TO START WITH AND USE THE MUCHO MONEY YOULL HAVE SAVED TO MOD IT
