Welcome to the forums Marvjones,
Please do NOT start any more irrelevant POLLS.
I can see you have already found X-Type forum with your original timing question so there is no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. To answer your further question on firing order for the 2.0 litre.
1. Viewed from the flywheel, the right-hand bank is Bank-1 and the left-hand bank is Bank-2.
2. Firing order 1,4,2,5,3,6
3. Correct cylinder numbering is, when viewed from the rear of the engine, the right-hand cylinder bank is numbered 5,3,1 and the left-hand cylinder bank is numbered 6,4,2.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
