Hi everyone. I'm a new member from Manchester, UK. I am about to trade my black XK convertible for a white XK-R convertible (with black speed and body packs). I'm not too sure about the colour change but I should like the increased power.

Kicking this thing down in sports mode is the nearest to taking off in a military aircraft that most people will ever get - and the sound of that turbocharger......

Trading up to an XKR ( With black pack and speed pack )......you lucky lucky boy!!!
I had the privelege to be invited by Jaguar to spend the day and was able to enjoy this very car fresh off the production line for a few hours...........I'm hooked for life!!

Thanks Jim, good to hear from Scotland - I was born in Dundee but have sadly lost my accent.
I get my XKR tomorrow and this will be the eighth different Jag model that I have had over the years. Is this a record?
