Two things
One is I keep seeing this x400 x350 etc thing what is it and which x is my car? And two is my wing mirrors won't budge can not fold them in will I have to dismantle the door to fix and yes I am a tad stupid
The "X" numbers are the factory model reference codes. The factory and dealers use these codes to avoid confusion. For example, Jaguar marketed four completely different XJ6 models between 1969 and 2009!
Your X-Type is an X400. My XK is an X150.
You should ask the door mirror question in the X-Type (X400) tech forum for advice from members with the same model.
