Hello from Erie, Pa. Dreamed of being a Jag owner since the 80's. Finally made it happen with a used 2003 x-type that a friend of mine bought, which I'm helping him rebuild. However, I see that the x-type series is a bit crickety. I'll be posting a question later but wanted to say hello first since it's a "must." Everything I've found on these forums seems helpful so I know I'm in the right place. My friend is a 25yr car expert so he'll have my back on some of these discussions.

I can see you have already found your way to the X-Type tech section so no need for a link from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
