V12 owner from NJ checking in
Hi there! I am Gary and reside in Southern NJ in a little town called Merchantville. I am a HUGE car guy and ended up buying a large estate from a gentleman that passed and there were two Jaguars in the lot. As much as I love cars, I am predisposed to uber fast cars so I am poking around on the site to check some technical things out as the one has the interior removed and is in TERRIFIC shape and this is from a guy that does car shows. Some simple things like a few gauges are not working but the center console is out and then I have a ton of parts, a parts car and need to see what things are worth.
I'm tempted to keep the cars to be frank as the one is simply beautiful and heck I would have PLENTY of extra parts for later, but so many cars right now so I most likely will sell them. I spend a lot of time on car forums mostly for my Vipers so these forums are always valuable to share ideas and also maybe get to know a new friend or friends along the way. Me, I am a techie with a company located in Millville, NJ that does laptops, networking, desktops, barcode sales and repairs and anyhow I can rebuild engines myself and have a lot of tools. I'm looking forward to browsing the site and the old Series III Jaguars when nice and clean look beautiful. I even have have about 10 boxes of 1979 JAG parts too as the owner has a ton of Jags and they were all sold but I have a ton of parts now to sell/trade.
Anyhow, time to check the site and see what I can learn from here which will be a lot of information as I have never owned nor worked on a Jag. Anyhow, greetings from NJ! Gary

Thank you Graham for the link. Lots to read here and also I will look at pictures as I might do the interior on the car and keep it. The darn car looks beautiful, but so many things going on-decisions haha. I know I have a power steering leak on it as there was puddle under the car and the PS is not working, so it needs a little TLC, but has a fresh $6500 paint job on a KILLER body and why I am sooooo tempted to keep them. if it had a 500 HP motor it would be a no brainer, but I am guessing there are what 240 HP or so stock with the V12?
Wow, more HP than I thought and you are tempting me as this ride is simply beautiful. I love the depends part too-haha. My slowest is now 740+ RWHP on pump gas so I am spoiled, but the XJS is classy so you have a valid point.

Thanks guys for the welcome, don't be too friendly or I will feel out of place
Hearing there is more HP than I thought makes me want to keep the car which is good and bad. Pros: Looks GREAT, uber clean, paid for, a full parts car or car that is restorable is more like it and a pallet of parts. Cons: I have a ton of cars and it takes up space in my warehouse for my business. I know one thing, I am going to blame GGG if I keep it because it is his fault he told me it had more power than I thought
