Cool video on how to replace upper & lower gaskets on a xtype

hey just want to thank this forum _ its has saved me tons of money _ I was intimidated when buying my 1st jag _ due to all the rumors of how expansive it was to maintenance it - but by reading & analyzing some post it really helped me do it my self so i did a video explaining on how to change The upper & lower intake manifold - spark plugs- im still having some hesitation so before i change the imt o rings & knock sensor is there anything else i can check?

Thanks i appreciated I still have a bit of a hesitation/ so next will be the O-rings - Plan B- will be knock censer- great forum saved be a bunch

Your video technique of removing the fixings to be able to lift off the parts in a clean and quick sequence for the camera is very effective.

Good luck with the O Rings.

Hi guys,
I followed the instructions and got the confirmation beep from the dash after programming but there seems to be a problem. When i press unlock, i can hear the actuator engage to unlock the door bit when i press lock i dont hear anything and the exterior lights flash 5 times. At the moment the trunk latch is not on the car bc of a bad actuator. Would that cause some kind of error with the locking system to not engage the actuator for the door locks? It wants to unlock just doesnt do anything or make any noise when attempting to lock other than the lights flashing.

I cant find how to edit posts if i even can yet so i apologize for the double post but i didnt mean to bump this thread. I was trying to post in the key fob post and have no idea how i made it here. I do apologize and admin may delete my posts on this thread.
