new to forum want to buy 3.2 xj v8 960000 miles private buy the guy wants 2200 quid his friend reckon he will take 1500 is this a decent price has 5 owners from new no tax but 12 month mot very good condition compeletly original what do you guys reckon

Is the MOT from somwhere reputable? Why is his friend giving you advice?

Matt - I'd say at 960000 miles it has to be the highets mileage Jag ever!!
seriously though - check the relevant section and the guys will tell you everything to look for, but as said, if it looks clean and looked after it might be worth a punt
