Hi, my name is George.

I use this forum a lot for good information about my 2002 X-Type. I recently Seized the motor due to low-no oil and the oil light never came on. I heard through the grape vine this happened to someone else recently and Jaguar replaced the engine for free. I'm trying to figure out how to post on this forum to ask if anyone else has heard of this.

I can see you've already worked out how to post a new thread and found your way to the X-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
