Hey, I'm a new user coming in from northeastern Ohio.
It's been a while comin' so I figured I'd go ahead and make an account on these forums. I've been around here plenty of times before and it's been good help, but I figure I'd make myself useful and that I may as well be able to use it and meet the community.
I've got a fairly stock 40/60-AWD 2004 Jaguar X Type 24V-3.0L-V6 that just hit 88888 miles on the odometer. It's at about 91,500 now and almost due for an oil change. Still running strong. I got this thing back in about August or so, and after about 11 years, this winter is the first winter that it'll be put to the test (it was a summer ride up until now- and now it's in it for the full 12 months). And all I can say is that it's doing what Jaguars do best.
Give it a couple of weeks and I'll be done with some routine maintenance that came up (and, unfortunately, is still coming up- like... I was informed of something that came up as I was writing this post) in a less than decent way and be able to work on it with the future gouda

It sounds like you know your way to the X-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
