Default weak seat heaters

S type R 2003 has working but wimpy seat heaters. Dealer says they're all that way. Finally get warm a mile down the road when I don't need them anymore. Is there a fix and/or can an aftermarket heater be wired into the oem switch.

Welcome.

I suggest a repost of the question in the S Type section, where answers will be available.

I have no idea, we dont have them down here.

Welcome to the forum 123casitree,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I haven't owned a S-Type but my X308, XK8 and current XK seat heaters have all been similarly slow to heat up.

Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 ( X200 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Midwest Region forum by following this link US Midwest - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
