Default Week old S-Type owner

Just purchased a S-Type 4.2 last Sunday. I live in Charlotte, NC Took it for a ride in the NC/TN mountains yesterday and it drove and rode like a dream. I think I'm going to love this car more each passing day. Came from Camry SE model, so this is a much better ride. Can't wait to meet you all.

Welcome! Yes these sure are great cars, i just picked up an XJR myself going from an XJS. Prior to that i owned old camaros, ford probes and a bunch of old cheap cars. I now know that one beautiful car is SO much better than a bunch of cheap ones lol

I think they out more time into combining great pieces together instead of just producing a car. The handling, ride and looks are supurb!

exactly, i've never had a car ANYWHERE as luxurious as my XJR, It is as fast if not faster than my built up camaro, AND can take a turn. i never thought so many things could come together in one package haha

Thanks everyone. The more I drive this car, the more fun I have. I've loved cars my whole like, but this is my first "luxury" car.
I see it's raining here in N c this morning. We'll see how she handles in the elements.
Again, thanks for the warm welcome.

BTW, the color of Zircon on this car caught my eye on the lot, and I didn't see another car after that!

Welcome fellow S Typer and Carolinian. Very nice vehicle you picked up! Thanks for sharing the pics.

Lots of information in the S Type FAQ Thread, well worth a read.

Enjoy the site to its fullest!
