Question what - Jag, Daimler or Bentley?

I am new here so please put up with my ignorance, first hello all.
I am considering to purchase a luxury car, Jag, Daimler or Bently.
I want something between 1995 to 2003. The Bently is in another price bracket but from what I see the Jag/daimler xj 12 is full of luxury. Can anyone advise me on the best deal & what to look out for if I go for the daimler.
I live in UAE so petrol is not an issue. Thanks readers.

Welcome to the forum Harry,

Good advice from Norri. Follow his link to the sections for advice, information and opinions from owners.

US owners will not be familiar with the Daimler variants as Jaguar cannot market them there. However it is only a different trim level nowadays.

Whilst it's enviable that petrol is not an issue to you, this is not the highest cost factor in running any of the models you are considering.

Of course, if money is also not an issue, you could just buy all three.

Thanks for your replies, I will get on with the searches. I have a BMW X5 & Audi quatro a8 so I have got used to quality & thats what I am looking for with my next purchase. Jags had a terrible reputation during the 80's, But I am told that when Ford took over the quality & reliability improved. I feel that a Bently Arnage has the edge in many ways but its 3 times the price. Thanks guys for a very friendly introduction to the forum.

Default owners manual in english

I hope that I made the right choice, I bought the double six with 73600 km on the clock. I have the service history from the garage but no owners handbook. Where can I get this manual, its a 1996 Daimler double six. I hope that you guys dont think I am taking advantage of this site. Soon I will place some photos. Does anyone know how many of this model were made??
Thanks, Harry

Harry,

You didn't buy all three!

Is it the Driver's Handbook you need?

The printed Daimler 66 handbook will be rare and difficult to obtain but the DVD from JDHT (Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust) has much useful information to help you run and maintain the Daimler:

Jaguar Heritage. XJ12 (X300) 6.0 LITRE (JHM1181)

I've checked eBay and the specialist handbook retailers but can't find an original printed handbook listed today.

Harry, I've already replied to your post which I moved to the XJ12 section so I've removed the duplicate

Welcome to the forum.

I don't have much for the V12 but follow the Download link in my signature and checkout the X300 section, you will find commonality.
