Default X-Type 3.0 and S-Type 3.0 gasket comparison

I have a full set of gaskets for an 2003 X-Type 3.0L. Can these fit the 2003 S-Type Jaguar 3.0L? Need help.

Welcome to the forums Andrew,

I see from your location that local expertise may be thin on the ground!

The Part Numbers for the cylinder head gaskets are different for the two models so you will need to find someone who has made a direct comparison. Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum and this one https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome to the Forums.

Graham has said it correctly. Some minor gaskets are the same. I looked years ago. Others may well be suitable, but the risk of failure due to some silly alteratrion would be scary.

Good luck.
