Default X308 Bonnet Mascot

Thinking of fitting a Bonnet Mascot to my 1999 X308. Never had one fitted from new (Australia)
I would think this question would have been asked many times! I have sourced the right mascot (leaper) but now to fit it. Has any-one been down this road before that may have some advice that might cut down on the heartache?
Would appear easier to remove the bonnet,as there are three holes apparent on the underside and am assuming the spring part fits in the middle one.

It sort of looks naked without one!

Neil,

You'll get a better response by posting this question on the X308 section:

XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

Bonnet Mascots are very popular in the US and I'm sure an owner with one fitted would posts pics of the under bonnet view to help you get the precise location and fitting method.

You could also take a look in the S section some people have gone the other way and put on the badge.
