1985 XJ6, the climate control system works periodically. the heat and AC system are both operational, it seems the controller itself is bad. My Jag mechanic , Jim Boffo, in Rochester PA mentioned that a replacement controller is made, it looks like a shotgun shell and just plugs into the wires from the old unit. He cannot locate them any longer. Has anyone ever heard of this part and knows where to get one?

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
